Travel Details 2009 / 2010


The Leyland and Chorley Seasiders Supporters Club run transport to EVERY Blackpool away game and will continue this throughout the coming season. Transport is via an 'Executive 24/33-Seater MiniCoach' (except for a couple of games which will most likely be designated 'train trips' - the only planned remaining trip on the train is Cardiff City (9th Jan 2010) although Plymouth Argyle may also be on the train as this is the 'weekend trip' so a number of people are going down for the weekend meaning that there will be limited numbers on the bus.
Details for all games up to the end of the season are shown below and we will also be running transport for any cup games that are not listed in the original list.

There are a number of designated pick up points on route to the games with booking required if you wish to travel with us.

All departure times listed below are the times that the bus will be leaving the Castle Gardens pub in Carleton and further pickups points are available if required. These are listed below with the approximate departure time relative to the Castle Gardens start time:

Drop off points are the same on the return journey. We aim to leave early enough to allow for any potential traffic problems and there is often a 1 hour stop on the way back to break up the journey and allow for a couple of drinks.

Please note that there is availability for all trips on the bus for the rest of the season, although the earlier you let us know then the more chance you have of getting a seat. The Plymouth Argyle trip may be on the train and if so then we will be looking to book cheaper rail tickets in January so will need to know in January if you definately want to come to this game with us.

Also, whilst the email inbox is regularly checked, the best way to get hold of a comittee member for booking purposes is by leaving a message on the avftt messageboard as this will get back to someone quicker than the email might and there will more than likely be someone on there who has the contact numbers (which are not published on here - so that no nobbers can get hold of them!)
